Hello, friend! I'm so glad you're here!

With love, Yelena Bosovik

This is the [summary of a] story of an ordinary girl and her extraordinary God . . .

Yelena Bosovik obtained her Bachelors degree in Finance and Economics, with emphasis in Entrepreneurship and Global Studies, from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. While in college, she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Drury Mirror for three years, co-founded the university's first entrepreneurship club, and held multiple leadership positions on campus.

Yelena then went on to receive her Juris Doctor from University of Missouri School of Law ("Mizzou Law") in Columbia, Missouri, with an emphasis in Tax Planning. While at Mizzou Law, she also taught finance at the college level and served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Environmental and Sustainability Law. Yelena currently works in international tax consulting.

While in law school, Yelena founded and served as the Editor-in-Chief of an online magazine for young women, Tirzah Magazine. For nearly four years, this online community grew to over 200 contributors and thousands of readers from all over the world. Tirzah's mission was to empower and equip a generation of set apart women to live out His will in our every day lives.

After reading through the Bible in full her first year of law school, Yelena learned the incredible power of being deeply rooted in the Word through daily Bible study and the sweetness of a personal relationship with the Lord. Compelled to share all that the Lord was teaching her, Yelena started sharing notes from her Bible study on her personal Instagram and on Tirzah Magazine. Since Instagram has character limits though, this blog was born out of the desire to share how the Lord is leading and teaching her through His word.

Yelena enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with her family. She is currently working on her debut novel, Becoming Tirzah.

The oldest of ten children and an immigrant from Ukraine, she enjoys sharing her story in hopes that it inspires and encourages others to trust God with their dreams. Yelena is passionate about working with young women and hopes to have a career in international law and policy.
